Im going in about 2 for a evening hunt today.Got a few things to do this morning.

 

I'm on day 4 of my 10 day vacation and decided to set up on my 5 acres behind the house this morning rather than going to my hunting lease. All day sits Friday, Saturday and Sunday and total deer seen is two, both of which were spikes. I'm deflated..

 

I’m out again this morning. Hunted all day yesterday and never seen anything. Good luck everyone!

 

Good luck. Home from work with a sick little one so I'll be checking in. Saw a lot of deer this weekend and couldn't get a shot at anything. Young bucks chasing hard in CKy.

i have no idea how many days in a row it’s been. Iv lost count I’m tired grumpy and hoping for a stud but I’m running out of steam. I’m impatiently waiting for a 160 inch 12 point that I know was alive Saturday evening. Hell im chasing a unicorn

 

I am here!!! Deliriously tired but here none the less. Kinda

 

I’m out too and like mainbeam chasing that unicorn. Haven’t got a shooter buck on camera all year even though I’ve seen a few early in the year. My main concern right now is to get my baby girl Reagan her 1st deer.

Funny thing that Owen county sounded like a war zone this weekend. Not a single shot heard this morning.

 

Back up in Hardin Co myself. My partner that I hunt this farm with hunted yesterday from 1pm to dark. Saw 6 scrub bucks and 3 does. All feeding and Snow White glands. He did say the 2 smallest bucks sparred for a few mins in front of him. Rut hasn’t opened up here yet. Nothing this morning so far. Heard two gun shots and one deer blow about 100yds up the ridge. Well that will wake you up!!!I hit the grunt call 3 times and bout 2 mins later a squirrel goes into full crackhead mode behind me I’m talking going nuts. I️ hear a twig break and then another. I️ stand up get turned around and I’m watching like a hawk on a power line lol. and then there he is!!!!!! A huge $&@$$/&$@&$$//$&&&$$&&$$$&&$$&&&$$$&&$$$$$$&&$$$&&&&
