Mexico Bison - part 1

Shot it last February. Taxidermist in Tuscon sent the pic yesterday. These are the real horns and this is a pretty good bison.
Part 2- He's working on the shoulder mount that will have replica horns on it. Be ready in a few months.

How do Bison eat??
The burgers are great. Everything else needs to be slow cooked. These aren't the farm raised, grain fed bison you get in restaurants. These live in steep, nasty mountains. Rock and Ocotillo is all i saw on the ground, have no idea what they eat. Because of that and being so far south, they are not nearly as big bodied as what you see in Yellowstone NP.
