I just came across this, who made that decision, tanks are the king of battle, I don’t understand why they would take the tank from warfare, old fashioned down and dirty combat, maybe moth ball or take few out but shit can the whole deal? Idk what’s going on

If the Leftists get their way, they would do away with the Marines also.
Our Military is in serious trouble already.

People were the same about our navy battleships, they just became impracticle, obsolete, and expensive. Millitary has always been about more bang for the buck, and im glad. With all the smart weapons now tanks just become a slow target, no match for a plane, chopper, or even handheld guided missles.

I read somewhere about 5 to 7 yrs ago the main battle tanks were going out of service. When my son's regimen pulled out of Iraq years ago they left all the Abrams and a bunch of helicopters parked in the desert of Kuwait. Key parts removed so they would not run.

They are pretty inexpensive but hope they get even cheaper for a farm truck

A place south of Murray, on the way to TN, had a lot full of humvees my last time through. I was thinking farm vehicle when I saw em. Don't know if they were for sale or not. @drakeshooter or @FOWLER2671 have any in info on them?

Yes they are for sale. They rebuild/remodel most of them. I can get the number for you.
