Sorry Gforce just saw this. Barn is 48x30 with a 12x30 lean to. They were attic trusses. Gave me a 48x14 room, knee walls were @67" so it's not to tight up there.
Daaaaaaaaayyyyyyymmmm Drahts... that’s a sweet unit! From the color of the metal to the sliding barn door...I am liking your B&B very much. You really knocked r out of the ballpark on this project!Me is jealous...Your a blessed man ..just to have a wife that likes to b creative and give the comfy/rustic look to your place.
Aaron, first floor has 12' ceilings. I wanted to be able to take my cap off truck and lift it to the ceiling and have plenty of headroom, and I thought about a lift so knew I'd need room if I decided to do that. I made 2 mistakes, I didn't rough in for the bathroom, I only put pipe in then tied to that. And use large long sweep electric conduit to bring electric and water line in, much easier to get wire and water line thru than PVC with hard 90 on end. And if I had to do it again I'd start steps on back wall to a small landing then finish the rise. Mine are straight run.
Well finished the last project in the Man Cave last week. Momma's closet that sits at the top of the steps in the foyer to the Man Cave, she wanted a screen door with Landscape Fabric for the screen. So her wish was my command. Done!
