A good perspective. https://bangordailynews.com/2017/11...the-victim-in-hebron-shooting-no-matter-what/
Just red the article. What toothless, inbred, mutant would think it was the woman's fault because she wasn't wearing blaze orange?
Quite frankly, any other perspective is asinine. She was on her own property. This halfwit shot at something that he hadn’t clearly identified and ruined the lives of many people (including his own). Inexplicable.
why take a shot at something you aren't sure of and then once you realize it why run off without helping. that would have made all the difference in saving this woman's life. this guy needs to go to jail.
It's great to see hunters holding this guy accountable for his actions instead of making excuses to promote their rights or some brotherhood. Keep the good going!
Hope he has many years to think how stupid he was behind bars. Accidents happen, looking into a scope and pulling the trigger and killing a human 99.99% of the time isn't an accident.
The defense will capitalize on the general public's (jury) ignorance of hunting. Most are unaware that being on farm or forestland that is not public land is trespassing. They assume hunting involves shooting at running deer in the brush and have no idea what what goes through our heads when u have a critter in your crosshairs/sights. A jury of actual peers (hunters) unserstand how bad this is while the avg suburban mother will think this is a terrible hunting accident.
Unfortunately, some communities care more about their "rights" than the life of a fellow human being. http://outthere.bangordailynews.com...-urges-hunters-to-use-caution-in-maine-woods/ This is a sad story all around. The fact that some locals blamed the victim who was on her own property for her death is beyond disgusting. It reminds me of those certain folks who cry "he dindo nuttin, he a good boy tryin' to get his life on track" after the "good boy" commits a violent crime. We don't loot a Cabela's or BassPro in "protest."
