Hello all! Been a minute since I’ve posted on here. Anyways, I know finding anything guns and ammo related right now is nearly impossible, but I can’t find magnum 209 primers for Blackhorn 209 anywhere. Does anyone know some place around Knox County or online that would have CCI 209M or Federal 209A primers? Or heck if someone close by that has about 20 they could give me lol. TIA!

I've also been looking for some Magnum 209 primers as I have switch from loose Triple 7 to Blackhorn 209 powder. I've checked several online stores and they currently have none in their inventory. Hope things will get back to normal after the election. What I can't understand is: this panic buying started after Bill Clinton ran for president back in the '90's, and now every time a presidential election come-up there is another run on gun, ammo, and reloading supplies. Growing-up, and back in the 1960's - the '80's I can't remember this panic buying going on like what we see today.

That's because the Dem party wasn't trying to hijack the 2A in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Ever since the Clinton "Assault Weapon" ban, the Dems have been looking for every opportunity to grab your guns. Sorry to go political, but that's the way it is.

Ive been trying to buy shotgun reloading supplies lately. Not trying to buy them up, just trying to restock and I like to never even found regular winchester 209's and that was local. Everybody online is out of wads,hulls,primers...everything.. Its really annoying as crap. I
Im still looking if I find some mags in stock Ill come back and message you

I just returned from our local Walmart; I noticed they had ONE M/L and all types of sabot bullets. Cleaning equipment was available too, but they had NO PRIMERS or POWDER. I am of the opinion that these items, along with ammunition and such are being bought-up by those thinking that our economy is going to collapse very soon and many stores will close. So some individuals will start selling on the black market those items we seek. It's pretty stupid of any store to sell M/Ls and not have anything shooting supplies!! Other on-line stores are all OUT of supplies too, and I bet most will go out-of-business if they don't have inventory on hand.

I have these if anyone wants them. Left over from when I used 777. I'm out of state and make it to Ky every 3-4 weeks, traveling on I-64 from Wv to Lexington then Bluegrass Pkwy to Bardstown. I'd meet someone at an exit but I'm not driving over a mile or two off interstate to hook up.
    Be back before Thanksgiving week.

I have a box of Winchester 209 primers + a box of Winchester Triple 7 primers. Can't see why these won't work using Blackhorn 209 powder.o_O

Can't speak to the Win 209's, but the 777 primers are designed to be "cool," ie. a very mild primer. BH209 needs a strong/hot primer for reliable ignition, ie. CCI magnum, etc.

Found a store in Lex with 209a Headed there right now. Just found out not legal to ship but for anybody in need there is an abundance of 209A at classic arms and archery located in Lexington Kentucky

Guess the 777 type shotgun 209 primers are useless for BH-209. :( I still have several regular Winchester 209 primers, guess these will work, until the magnum type 209's are once again available.

I used the BH powder last year and used the win 209 primers as in the pic and it went boom and hit the target I was shooting at 100 yards. So I don’t understand either bout the magnums. I never shot a deer. But shot a target.
My buddy told me same thing that I needed the magnums but couldn’t find any. But I’m not the one to research that stuff either. I’m back to shooting pellets now though.

I have some CCI 209 Magnum primers that I would hook someone up with. I'm in Louisville so I don't know if this helps.
