For the past few years I’ve really tried to keep a log of what lure/baits and lure bait combinations work best for me. I’ve caught more canine off cat man do by Milligan’s than any other lure. Also caught quit a few off fox frenzy by mark june. I always try to use different bait and lure combo when putting out multiple sets in one location to see what works best. Could be a coincidence but for me and where I trap 75% of time whatever set has cat man do gets the first catch either being a dirt hole or flat set.

I do like to take deer meat scraps and cut off some pieces of fur with a chunk of meat and stuck at the top of my dirt hole. That smell and the visual of that patch of white hair sticking out seems to work good

Think I posted this last winter, I killed a buck and didn't want to gut it at that spot so when I did I saved some deer blood just to "try" it's the most natural smell and a yote won't stop till they get a foot in trap.. it's been "trapper approved"

I never thought about that before. Did you refrigerate it or freeze it until you was ready to use it?

Or do you preserve it like you do when making bait?
