    I'm in induction mode.... Once I lose 25-30, then I'll move to maintenance mode of 60-70 per day....

    Cauliflower mash is a pretty damn good substitute for mashed taters. It has some carbs but a lot of dietary fiber that cancels some out.

    Sometimes I will but nothing wrong with a good pot of saltwater either!!

    From Nov. 2017 to Dec . 2018 I lost 60 lbs. (needed to lose another 60 to be about right weight for my build & height) eating keto. Then spent 2019 gaining back half of what I lost. I'm disappointed in myself but I'm trying to get back into it. I'm much more towards carnivore keto than just keto. It just suits me well and kicks the crap out of any cravings. I've got dozens of LC/keto recipes as I enjoyed cooking. I'll see about posting some of the better ones. I've not made time to cook much routinely lately.

    As for the drinking, I gave up the beer for the most part and just drink bourbon instead now. 99% of the time it's mixed in a diet soda of something variety - cola, Mt. Dew or Sprite.

    What's the key with the carb diet, did you notice the weight falling off or is it gradually,

    The key is don't eat any damn carbs. Carbs is the debil.
    Noticable weight loss, fast, if you do it right

    Once you hit ketosis, you’ll lose 3-4 pounds a week, or more.
