My ole dog Ruger had to be put down today. She was 15 and a damn good dog. Never met a stranger and had more love than most creatures. RIP
Losing a good dog is worse sometimes than losing a good human. Makes it tough when we have to make the decision for them. Rips your heart out. RIP Ruger.
Sorry about your loss; always a tough part of life to deal with. We lost one of our cats, Princess, 2 weeks ago tomorrow. When I married my wife, part of the deal was that she would bring her favorite farm cats, tuning them into indoor outdoor cats. She lived on the family’s farm in her late grandmas house, and the cats were always part of her raising. She thinks that she was around 14 or so, and she and that cat went through a lot together. She is just now getting over her. I got attached to them all, and it hurts me just as much seeing her grief. Don’t mean to rant or hijack with my cat, but it’s tough man.
Sorry Red, Cant imagine that day. Its coming though. The dog I have now is the best hunting fishing and house partner I have ever had. Spends 24/7 together. Think it may be better if I go before him.
Man, that's a bad,bad day. Had to make that decision on a 14yr old best friend in 2019 and it just plain sucks. RIP Ruger.
