...my truck! Apologize for sick humor but just want to interrupt all the political talk and remind everyone to count their blessings. In the darkness this morning a huge dark object that looked like a garbage dumpster suddenly appeared and I drilled it/it drilled me full speed. In the aftermath, I found out it was a heavy duty steel commercial grade gator trailer that had broke loose from a passing vehicle. I had me little girl with me and we escaped with scrapes and bruises. My truck named Blue By You of 12+ years will haul my crew and wheeler hunting no more. Honestly, I don't care, I get one more day to be a husband and a dad to my precious girl and I'm thankful for that. Things happen fast folks, hug and kiss a loved one tonight.

Glad you and the girl are safe. Be glad you were in a truck - just think how that could have turned out if you were driving a little car?

All trucks eventually end up in a crusher anyway, yours just a little sooner than others. What's important you and yours are safe.

Glad your daughter and you are safe. Did you figure out whos trailer it was in the road? Obviously, whoever lost the trailer needs to have their insurance pay for your truck.

That was "close enough"; really happy you and your daughter weren't seriously hurt. It's unbelievable how fast something like that can happen.

How in the world did the trailer get loose?

IMG_2842.JPG For the questions above, no idea how the trailer got loose as the police report is not available yet. Also as far as the other persons insurance, I don't know. Guess that's all being worked out; however, seeing that they were of another "nationality" and already starting to make up stories, I just hope they're insured. I got multiple people telling me there's no way they could have locked the coupler on the trailer or used safety chains and that I should sue for negligence. I'm not the suing type but the more I look at these burn marks on my little girls neck the madder I get. I did rent a nice big truck to haul my wheeler with with my renters insurance. I won't stop living and plan on getting back in the woods soon. Here's just one pic of my truck.
