I'm in a world of hurt if I want to get back on the water this year. My Lockout Handle is broken on my 1993 Bass Tracker with an Evinrude 40HP Outboard motor.
Does anybody have any leads for this? The part from factory is $5 but they don't make them anymore. I found 1 place that sold their last handle for $95 on Thursday. He offered me to buy the entire side mount level unit for $250 used and $320 new. Makes me sick to spend that kinda $$ on this boat...but my daughter is on me to get out on the boat soon! It's plastic so I can't weld etc...and it's a pretty integral part of making back to the dock in time. Anybody have any ideas or where to look for this part?
