Yeah, just don’t blow it too close to them, that thing is very loud!
Buddy of mine likes a dog whistle. I've pretty much given up on gadgets, but I broke down the other night and bought a gobble shaker call. It just sounded good in the store. Haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet. Thought maybe it might unbreak a stuck gobbler.
Car horn works wonders too!
A thunderstorm is the best!
Ol braying jack works well.they can be stubborn tho..
I wait for crows and geese to fly over and raise hell. There always seems to be plenty around where I hunt.
silent dog whistle
Back a decade ago, when I was hunting 30 days for turkeys a spring between OH and KY, I never could get turkeys to gobble on traditional locator calls. Granted I was hunting public land only back then.
Had great success cutting hard and aggressive on the slate to locate them though.
I bought a thunder shaker and it sounds awesome
I don’t know why since a turkey is a meal for a coyote, but when nothing else works, a good coyote howl gets them going! Also, duck calls and goose calls.
A goose call works wonderfully
