    I say little Andy may (hope) only serve one term .
    I have a couple rental and they are not even trying to pay their rent. They know they can not be evicted .
    You take two people in a rental and they receive their stim money of $2400 and then the extra $600 X 2 unemployment money . Now they get free rent.
    you take two months with two rentals and the rental owners loose $2000 and they will sit there as long as they can. .little Andy is going to extend the no eviction order that I don't agree with. He can kiss my rear end.
    It would be different if they were trying but they aren't.
    I am tired of his rambling on TV like he is trying to solve problems . His famous words is we are working on it .

    Yeah that sucks and AOC is wanting everyone to do rent strikes, work strikes etc. She's a fruit loop anyway. Sorry to hear you're getting shafted.

    Sorry to hear that. Are any of the utility's in your name ? If so just shut them off, that has worked in other places. They will not stay long without water or electric.

    Nope i never put utilities in my name , thank goodness.
    One place the two was having a good fight and she left , the lease was in her name but the boyfriend was listed on the back as living there. The girlfriend cut the water and electric but the boyfriend is still there . I was ready for them to go before little Andy put the no eviction orders out . this bunch I had to track them down every month.
    There is a note at my electric company that they are to contact me if electric is being shut off and I can just put it back in my name until I rent it out again. I told them to not put it in my name . The lease is up anyway so he would have to show he has a lease to get the electric back on.
    Another thing I always require the tenant to now their own yards. (If I have to now the rent would be higher)
    Well guess what? They will get free yard service to.

    Rent strikes will create problems I am sure. Landlords will evict or terminate leases if they have been treated unfairly.

    I would most certainly help someone who was trying or needed help. These are not the type who want to do the right thing . they know what they can get by with. Plus , they would rather buy another car instead of paying for a roof to live under. It is hard to live in a car. I am just glad they don't have kids.

    I own the house next to me my Mom used to live in, and I'm afraid to rent it because of the horror stories I've heard.

    Those stories are true . friends and family is a no no . Had some good ones but they are few and far between.
    Most live like pigs. Rarely do tenants get their deposit back

    I've heard if you rent to a friend or family member, you might as well look at it as charity in the long run.

    Yep and they are always wanting to borrow something or not worry about paying.
    Rentals is run like any business but harder to collect .

    It is hard to collect . You have to take them to small claims court and landowner wins, they still won't pay unpaid rent or excess damages.
    If they don't pay after small claims court , you have to have them hauled back in court (cost more money). That is if you can find them to serve papers.

    I have the small trailer and 13 acres more or less listed but not with a realtor. I priced it high . there is a steep hill right behind the trailer but a road does go up on the back and it is really nice up there. It may be small but does have deer and good ones at that . last fall I pulled in the driveway and there stood a good size eight point eating away at the end of the yard.
    If I knew it was legal and I could give notice to show the inside of the trailer , I would show it to everyone I could.
    I will look into that to see if I can intrude and show it to a possible buyer.

    My assumption is renters (I'm sure not all, but it seems the majority) are grifters. Socialistic systems are skewed to protect them, not the blood, sweat, toil or money investors and owners. That's because those making the laws and sitting on benches are socialistic and haven no clue about having to make a living on their own...they have taxes to pay their livelihood. Everyone else is just a blood bag for the parasites to effortlessly feed off of.
