Put the external solar on my 3 Tactacams about a month ago. The battery has never dropped below 100% but I don’t get 100s of pics a day. They should pay for themselves over the next year unless a bear decides to make them a chew toy.

Solar is great. I ran lithiums on my thermal scope though, it always showed 100% til it quit mid hunt, always. They act different than regular batteries. Highly inconvenient.

Solar cameras is the way to go though.
