I like Lithium. They last. Used them for several years. But I usually only run 2-3 cameras from Sept-late December and for the money the 60 packs of Rayovac High Energy that Lowes and Home Depot sale serve my purpose. I haven’t had to change the batteries and usually have plenty left at the end.

Lithiums do not corrode. Most cell cameras only suggest lithium batteries.

I have one camera that is still going since I placed it 11/6/21 but that is my record. Mostly last 5,6, or 7 months.

I get that a week. Unless the cows show up. I’ve gotten 2,200 in a day of nothing but prime angus beef. 🤣.
I’ve got 11 cell cams that come to my phone. 6 are mine and the others are hunting buddies that we either hunt the same property or share info because our property joins. My highest total as of today, 10-19-22, is 2297 photos for the month. Another is at 1718 10 long second videos. None of these cameras have been touched at all this year. We run our cameras 24/7/365. Solar and external is the only way to go.

I have also gone away from the lithiums to the Rayovac High Energy batteries. They are about 1/3 the cost and seem to be working pretty good. I have a couple of solar cameras that are great as long as you have some direct sunlight most days. The lithium batteries have gone crazy.

Herd360 is a solid vendor. Very knowledgeable on all cell and regular cams. They have or can make anything ya need.

My Spartans go thru 2 sets of batteries a year, that's it. I'm sitting at 25k photos on one cam. I have 5 Tactacams, 3 of those have a minimum of 15k photos taken the other 2 just went out this fall.

Put the external solar on my 3 Tactacams about a month ago. The battery has never dropped below 100% but I don’t get 100s of pics a day. They should pay for themselves over the next year unless a bear decides to make them a chew toy.
