I purchased the sportsman’s license this year. Does it include the bonus deer tag or do I need to buy that separate?

    What zone are you in?
You get 4 deer now rather than two, before having to buy and additional antlerless tag. So you would only need if you are hunting zone 1

Then u only can kill 4, and you wont need an additional permit.

One weekend take you a drive up to Mason county. Once you cross the county line, try to locate the owner of any corn/soybean fields. Tell them your a doe killin machine & the one responsible for putting Clay county in a zone 4. They'll let you hunt doe's.

90% of the landowners now know those deer represent dollar signs and it's getting harder and harder to just get permission, it doesn't matter if the deer are doing crop damage they know some people will pay to hunt and some will pay big.

Almost gone are the days of knocking on doors and getting permission.

I have three farms two in Madison and one in Garrard that will lease to me but not let me hunt for free.

Bonus tags are doe tags. Crop damage from deer is crazy in Mason and surrounding counties.Again a lot of crop farmers are pop shooting deer in the liver with a 22 so they will make it out of their field to die.
The people who hunt deer or lease hunting rights on these farms are only trophy hunting, not good for farming.
I have heard of 2 farms this year cancelling present lease just to lease to the amish/mennonite with the understanding to kill ever deer they see.

  13. Most amish,don't lease.They just trespass

And they kill them all . My sons farm had lots of deer and he would pass on bucks and never took a doe. Now with Amishit he has nothing left to hunt . Turkeys are gone to.
One thing about it we don't see chicken hawks any more.
