This is a perfect example of just how NUTS some of the PETA crowd really is. :(

Hope the FBI really does makes the effort to find whoever was behind this, it would be mighty interesting to see exactly what kind of people they are.

Sorry about the ad preceding the video, can't find a way to get rid of it.

I got too deep into this years ago trying to help folks reverse stupidity during elections. A woman leading the fight to reverse trapping in Massachussettes recieved many death threats and was even told to her face it was better for the coyotes in the neighborhoood to eat her child than to allow another to be raised with her hatred of such beautiful animals.

They lined up over 500 of these lunatics to protest the federal governments protection of a near extinct shorebird in Massachussettes. The ADC men doing the job didn't even bring the dead coyotes back to shore, buried them on the island.

3 children were attacked in suburbs on Cape Cod before even the police were allowed to shoot animals in those neighborhoods where the problem occured.

An infant was dragged from it's couch in the living room before police were allowed to shoot problem coyotes in Mesa Arizona. Dad left the front door open while he was getting groceries from the car. Dad saved the child but not the coyote. He recieved a few death threats for that.

And these lunatics are everywhere. Nancy Palosi has introduced Californias animal housing act to congress last August I think it was. And the same act was introduced into our own state congress this last summer as well. If passed these acts will cost our nations farmers far more than both parties spent during the recent elections.

Makes it a lot easier to understand why the right to hunt and fish was added to our states constitution doesn't it?

Oh, if your thinking this cannot happen here in Ky, take a real good look at that election map again. New Mexico was a blue state was it not. If something of this sort could make its way to national elections they now have the numbers to do it nation wide. They now know the democratic party will back them for a vote on about anything if it will increase the parties agenda.Jimmie

Obviously, people just need to contact old Jimmie. He can solve any kind of problem they will ever have. He is a walking, talking univac of information. Maybe he should run for office. A man with all that knowledge owes his fellow citizens his service.

Jimmy, a lot of things have changed in the last 25 years, and most of them are not for the Good.
The Millineal generation as they call it, has grown up in a different way than any previous generations.
The things taught in our schools by the Liberal Pointy Headed Professors for the last 40 years have just about destroyed our way of life.
I think we as Hunters and Shooters wil see some earth shaking changes in the next 4 years.
The Country needs more TAX revenue....The People in Charge hate firearms and the people who use them.
Don't be surprised if you see a Steep TAX on Ammunition and Firearms.
PETA is suported by a majority of the people in this Country.
The "Country" I used to live in, Is No Longer Here.

Jr, I have to agree with you. Our world has changed a great deal since we kicked Ed Asner off the air for his stance on gun control. When an animal has more value than a human child. When folks who live in large cities can decide how we produce the very food they eat. And I too fear it is going to get much worse before it turns around. Jimmie

You can have a negative attitude if you want to; that is your right. It is a lot more productive to look for things you can do to make things better and do all you can to make those things happen. A very close friend of mine used to be a state senator here in Kentucky. He is as good a Christian man as you could ever ask to meet, but he told me the hardest thing he had ever done in his life was being in politics. Hardly a day passed by without someone trying to bribe him to their way of thinking, but hardly anyone was telling him their views on how to vote on different issues. It is easy to read the newspaper and watch t.v. and take a negative attitude and bitch and moan about everything, but unless you are doing something to actually help change those things, you don't have much justification for having that kind of attitude. When you leave it up to the elected representative to do the best he/she can to make the right decisions for the majority of the people, he/she may or may not make the decision you personally like. This particular fellow I am speaking of sent out postage paid questionaires and only received about 20% back from the recipients.

I think the best is yet to come after the elected representatives start working together for the common good. America has the ability to solve about any problem, but the strength lies in the positive thinking people.

Al, I did do something. I got very involved in the fight against animal rights. SO much so that my post's , my pics etc. were being used against us as hunters. I know where the owner of that gun store is coming from because I too had my family threatened. I nearly lost my own composure over their behavior. I know of the democrats who worked to stop trapping in four states and how deep they are into the anti gun anti hunter movement. These events are why I do not post pics of my hunts to this day!!

As one who has raised various forms of livestock over many years I know that this animal housing act is the diference between profit and total loss of family farms , or at least could be. All supporters of this movement are democrat.

While I do agree that they are not representative of the party as a whole, they are very influential and they know it and use it at every oportunity. These few do not care about the country as a whole as long as they can achieve the goal they want. And they want to shove their beliefs and opinions down our throats and force the country to their way of thinking.

I am not a sheep Al. I have a mind that works and thinks. I can analize what I see and hear. Jimmie

Those people are usually net boasters and cowards who like to rant, rave, make threats on-line and IRL on the street but would mess their pants if someone took hold of them, then go crying to the law.
This crowd has been attacking Face-book hunting sites like Les Johnson's for over a year. Usually young or old dirty hippie cat collector women or those kind of fellows with unusual facial hair and stocking caps even in the summer. No connection to nature other than some contrived ideal, like someone said, by some radical environmental hippie teacher. Nevertheless, one is fighting a pervasive idea in the disconnected from nature urban world.Truth is the best weapon and bulletproof against radical agendas. We must counter such attacks with public exposure of the threats and that hunting is a rule-of-law activity.

A big part of the problem is people not being educated. In college, i had to take a public speaking class. We had to do an informative speech. I did mine on hunting and how it is beneficial. Many people in the class didnt know that the KDFW actually recieves very little money from taxes. Most of it comes from linsences and such. Many also didnt think about the animals getting mange and starving to death when their numbers get too high and how hunting and trapping is a good way to managing their numbers.

This is hillarious!! :D

Here is the final tally of the "Great Coyote Wipeout"!!

Guess they will have to start importing them to New Mexico now .... or get overrun by field mice.

http://www.krqe.com/dpp/news/environment/39-coyotes-killed-in-controversial-contest

I had one heck of a time finding ANY information on what actually happened; seems like the media would rather focus on speculation by nutball activist than actual facts .... what a surprise!!

I will be the first to admit that I tend to get worked up by such non sense as this. Why is it that some people who are other wise intelligent, decent and good all around stand up guys loose their common sense when it comes to stuff like this?
I have often wondered what Mr. PETA Man would say when a coyote eats his poodle or his other pets? What if a coyote got to HIS children? I think we talked about this last winter on this forum, but these are obvious examples of coyote getting more intelligent and more aggressive. And you can't blame this on the coyote! It is man and his tendacy to over populate and intrude upon animal habitat that leads to a great deal of this stuff.
What, do you suppose, PETA suggests as an alternative? Should the dude rescuing his child have given that coyote a stern lecture and then a doggie bone!? Come on!
At the risk of sounding like Chicken Little, this is a problem that is going to get exponetionally worse as time goes on.

A quick response to the poster who thinks that the best is yet to come.
No, the best is way behind us ol buddy. We have become a nation of takers rather than makers, as is evidenced by our last election.
The best is way behind us and the future will be far worse than most of us can ever imagine. Anyone in doubt should reference his Holy Bible. And if he should not happen to have one, I suggest he get one immediately!

End of rant.... I will now put away the soap box.
