Anybody using led lights for work/ reloading bench?
Would like to swap out 4-4 foot flourescent lights for LEDs
How do they compare ( lighting lumens, cost etc)?
    Thanks for all input

We have been replacing all our flourescent fixtures at work with LED. They are
4ft,8ft and some types of wallpacks. They are really bright, lighweight, quiet, instant on and long lasting with less maint.
Only downside, they are costly. They use less electric and will pay for themselves
overtime. When choosing replacements we use a chart that will compare lumens per led to flourescent.
They are worth the money. We have some LED conversion kits for exit lights that we put up over 10yrs ago
that are still working. They have not been turned off since they were installed.....

I LOVE my 4 ft LED over my bench. So much easier to see what I am doing.

    More of a " clearer " light
    And no more buzzing sound

I had a fluorescent light like you had that burned out a month or so ago. It stayed on all the time and lasted about 3 years. I replaced it with an LED light I picked up for a little more than a replacement fluorescent would've cost. I found, that like you, it's a "clearer" light. So far I'm happy with it.
