LC Stripers

Anyone been out on LC fishing stripers in the last little bit? Gonna take a break from trying to kill a buck and fish Sunday. Assume they are near the heads of the creeks like normal this time of year. Headed to White Oak if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas.

A sad update unfortunately lol. Found bait fairly easy, good sized gizzards in the head of the creek and didn't throw my arms off to get them. Water was 2.5 feet deep where I wanted to fish so had to end up moving further down creek than I'm used to this time of year. Pulled bait under balloons and tried down rods to no avail. Marked a few stripers but couldn't get anything to play. Buddy did catch his PB smallmouth though so that was fun.

How big was the Smallmouth? I was always hoping that someone would catch a new world record out there after they repaired the dam.

No where near record weight. He is not what I would call a super experienced bass fisherman. It was just a 3.5 pounder but tickled him pink.
