ok i havent filled my buck tag yet should have but haven't
an i was wondering how many of you have harvested mature bucks this late
in the game and what are my chances since the rut is winding down

How many target bucks do you have left and what is your shooter range?

I am still getting a few mature bucks on camera, both day and night. I have filled my tag but if all holds out I am hoping to put my fiance on one late muzzle loader seeing she hasn't ever killed a buck.

I have had good luck in the late season hunt food . when the weather is so bad you can't stand to be out is the best time to hunt late season around here the bigger deer will move in the light , I have seen more mature deer late season than any other time of year here if there is any mature deer left by then . standing beans are good late but corn pile will work too .

around here if a big deer makes it through to late muzzle loader you can bet he is smart enough to do your taxes for you . I don't know were they hide to make it through modern gun here . but some always do .

It looks like I'll be finding out for myself if my late season chances are good. I had the worst gun season in the last 20 years. Late Muzzleloader here I come.

Not sure where everybody is located but where I hunt I think this late season will be good. Not every year but this year. Problem is this is the busiest time of year for me work wise so I can't get out much. No I am not Santa Clause. I think there will be a lot of chasing still in my neck of the woods.

Cornpiles, that you can see on google earth will kill your deer!! That's NO JOKE YOUCAN ACTUALLY SEE MY CORN PILE ON GOOGLE EARTH..Nothing but a bunch of 2.5 yr old scrubs, that will live another yr,but the back straps out of the does will suit me just fine..

How quickly do they seem to find the piles? For instance, if I were to dump a few bags of corn tonight, should they be hitting it tomorrow? I'm sure it varies a bit, but on average how quickly do you guys see them on a pile at a new location?
