Only saw one doe. Found a brand new scrape made either last night or early this am. Wasn’t there when I walked out last night

Went for about 4 hours this morning. Saw nothing. The spot I was in usually produces at least a couple sightings each sit. Not today.

Went out about 8:00 this morning sat on a hill side watching another hill side. Saw 8 does and one small buck, didn't get the long range shot I wanted so I packed it up and came home!
    Little windy this morning.

Sat until 11. Not a single deer. Afternoon may be great but I’m letting the deer have it. Close to 15 hrs in the woods since yesterday without a sighting, I’ll take my chances from the couch. Good luck y’all!

Shot a doe at 930. 120 yds. Finally got a load that will pass through a deer. Saw 4 total. One small 4 point. That’s 4 in the freezer. Probably done for the year. No buck again but that’s ok. Planning for next season starts now.

Back at it for evening. Saw 8 this morning 2 small bucks and 6 does. The biggest doe was 180 not comfortable at that distance. Hope tonight she gets a little closer.

Got in a little later than I wanted, but I’m here. First sit ever in this location, about 40 yards down hill from my usual stand. Right on the edge of the bedding area, and where they’ve been popping out just before dark. If they follow the script tonight, should be a 10 yard shot if I can draw without getting busted. Dead calm here now with just the slightest breeze. Should hear them coming though

I’ll also add there were 2 olds scrapes refreshed, and two new ones walking in. None of which existed 10 days ago

Here in far Western VA, no does during Muzzleloader until 12/30, so I had my xbow and smoke pole both. 7:20, 8 or so does came charging past. I was sure there must be a buck dogging them, but I never saw him, and after about a minute they were over the ridge and gone. It was windy as heck and I was ready to give up, but an hour or so later a doe walked straight in to about 20 yards, and even though I hit her high and back, she ran maybe 120 yards and piled up. Happy day.

Buddy of mine said an 8pt he had been seeing a bunch just shed one side of his rack. I had one 2 days ago on cell cam that had dropped one side.
