I think I'll give it one last shot. Saturday may be good before the front.
It's gonna be fairly windy, but I bet they will feed Saturday afternoon with that weather coming in. I'll be there for sure. Sunday will be a game time decision.
Guys i am going to give it a whirl this afternoon. I need a doe for the freezer.
You're getting the wind before my area. I'm only showing 3 to 4 mph ENE wind and not picking up until almost dark.
I went wed and yesterday evening after work. Never saw a thing until dark. My crossbow bit the dust yesterday, limb cracked.
I’m taking my sister Saturday morning if all goes to plan and I’m not working. Hopefully can get her on another deer. Guess I’ll take my manly man bow.
I had planned on hunting this last week but had to go to Houston for a couple week project so I'm done
What caused your limb to crack?
10-12 called for here Saturday afternoon. Not bad, but breezy.
Does are really cruising from my cameras. The only question is where to sit in the morning.
Nothing I have done out of manual specifications. I have maybe 500-600 shots through it. It’s been cold. I did get it restrung last year. But have 50 shots through it since so I don’t think they stressed it.
I’m on hold with customer service right now, hope they make it right.
Shot a fat doe last night. Wouldn't mind another before the weekend is out. Have to sit out for my annual MLK last day hunt due to work but at least the pressure is off now.
Getting ready to hit the woods again this evening and definitely this weekend. Hope this winter storm front gets them up on their feet. Good luck to all trying to fill a tag and a freezer.
Just got settled guys best of luck to all gang.
Best of luck fellas. I am heading out in the am. Gonna be a bit windy
I'll be on stand for multiple sits this weekend. Always watch the sun set from a stand on the last weekend or last day if possible.
