Laser bore sight

Has anyone used a laser bore sight to sight in their rifles? Been thinking of getting one.

I love my old .30-06, but boy do I hate putting more than five or more rounds thru it! I thought this might be a bit easier.

I’ve used them and been dead on and I’ve used them and barely been minute of refrigerator cardboard box.

The best thing I’ve found to do is to get a grid sheet with 1/4” squares. Shoot at 25 then move it 4 clicks per square “if using 1/4” reticle” your impact is off.

Put the target at 100. Move it one click per square. Confirm with your final shot and hunt.

Btw….once you have a shot on paper, secure the gun onto the same bullseye so it doesn’t move and then dial it in to where the bullet hit. Be done in 2 shots

That is another great method. If you have a sled or a bench with some straps.

I’m usually luck to even be on bags so the paper just works better for me.
