I can prove he a Democrat--he's on a committee of his local UAW. He also works at Ford.

I kinda wonder if he's not trying to just make a name for himself so he can run for a state senate seat. Or is lobbying for a position in the new administration?

My guess is it was a directive from the DNC or to garner their attention. Regardless, he should be held responsible for the oath he's violated.

I don't agree with the guy at all, but to say he's violated his oath is a stretch. First, he's only proposed the bill. It's not been passed and he's not forced anyone to abide by it. Second, the 2nd amendment has been interpreted several ways by the SCOTUS and they've upheld several states similar laws.

Now, what I'm not aware of that's ever been challenged is Ky's Constitution. Ky says this:

Section 1 Rights of life, liberty, worship, pursuit of safety and happiness, free speech, acquiring and protecting property, peaceable assembly, redress of grievances, bearing arms. All men are, by nature, free and equal, and have certain inherent and inalienable rights, among which may be reckoned:

First: The right of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties.
Second: The right of worshipping Almighty God according to the dictates of their consciences.
Third: The right of seeking and pursuing their safety and happiness.
Fourth: The right of freely communicating their thoughts and opinions.
Fifth: The right of acquiring and protecting property.
Sixth: The right of assembling together in a peaceable manner for their common good, and of applying to those invested with the power of government for redress of grievances or other proper purposes, by petition, address or remonstrance.
Seventh: The right to bear arms in defense of themselves and of the State, subject to the power of the General Assembly to enact laws to prevent persons from carrying concealed weapons.

    It also says this:

Section 219 Militia, what to consist of.

The militia of the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall consist of all able-bodied male residents of the State between the ages of eighteen and forty-five years, except such persons as may be exempted by the laws of the State or of the United States

And most importantly, this, which seems to render his whole proposal moot and DOA:

Section 26 General powers subordinate to Bill of Rights -- Laws contrary thereto are void.

To guard against transgression of the high powers which we have delegated, We Declare that every thing in this Bill of Rights is excepted out of the general powers of government, and shall forever remain inviolate; and all laws contrary thereto, or contrary to this Constitution, shall be void.

Not much of a stretch...he's proposing a legal code that is in direct conflict of the idea of "inalienable rights" and the intent of the 7th amendment "The right to bear arms in defense of themselves..." by drawing up an "idea" as a means of limiting this right. It defeats the spirit of the oath.

  5. All gun laws are direct violations of the Constitution. He might as well propose a bill to jail people who criticize the gooberment.

BTW rulings by the SCOTUS may carry the force of law today, but that doesn’t make them right, moral, just or constitutional. Slavery of human beings was upheld by the SCOTUS for years.

The OFFICAL State Legislature site lists him as a Democrat. There are some people trying to make themselves look like Republicans and Independents and like Trump but in truth Democrats, they sometimes post stuff on other sites that misinform people about certain Democrats saying they are Republicans trying to fool people into thinking it's the Republicans doing this.

The DemonRats and their surrogates, "globalist big tech", are now openly attacking the 1st amendment. The coup is in our faces and has been ongoing for a couple of years, yet very few seem to recognize it.
