Sitting here in my Covid quarantine watching my last day of prime time season pass me by! I do love being out there this week before the rifle season, seems to be much tougher afterwards, and I don’t hunt during. But I am not complaining, I am very thankful, I got to hunt quite a bit this year, and filled two tags, all I can get in my county. And may get in some late season hunts also a Lord willing in another county. I am still very weak but a little better. Actually got out and flung a FEW arrows yesterday. I was totally out of breath after pulling my arrows and walking back to the house, but I did it!
Good luck to all you fellers that your time begins tomorrow!

Sun rise this morning. Saw one small buck. This afternoon had 150+ at 50 yards. Him and two other bucks got to chasing a doe around. Good day

Thanks Nock. I am doing well considering all that I have working against me. Main problem I’m still having with this stuff is extreme fatigue! It is a hard to go get the mail and walk back up to the house. Shooting a few arrows is okay if I had someone else to pull and retrieve them. But overall I feel very blessed.
By the way; that’s a beautiful picture above! Tell more about the bow, looks like a Black Hunter?

Also been hunting with this as well. Old green K mag. It’s a buddy of mines. He doesn’t hunt with. Told me to take it and hunt with it some. Hope to find one someday. It’s one of dream bows. Love that green and the white in riser.

Mighty silent among us Tradbow folks, guess it’s the rifle hunters time, I get out of the way during this time. But hopefully I can overcome this after Covid weakness soon. Gun season ends and I will be itching to go again if able. Any of you stickbow fellers still out hunting? Looks like Nock is only one showing signs of life.

I’ve found me a good one. Now the hard part. Bad as I hate to say it but I’m even going to pack a rifle.

Gotta do what he gotta do! I use to break over some in my younger days. Now I’m old and don’t own a rifle. But every one of us get to choose how we want to hunt, I’m not against hunters doing it their own way, I’m just stuck on the stickbow! Best of luck.
