Me and my hunting buddy are hopefully in for a few days if it’s the first week in November! Probably 1st-4th. Or 4-7. Wherever you all want to go, I like LBL, but flexible. He is determined to hunt the second week which is week before rifle season here at home. He is saving some off days for that. Edit; Spoke with him today, his work is getting busy, he may not get off. But this is next week! We need to plan a little, let me know ASAP.

We will be hunting Veterans Memorial WMA near Georgetown, and staying at Whispering Hills Campground next week, monday tuesday and wednesday nights, and leaving after morning Hunt on thursday. The campgroundis kinda pricey at $36 a night, but is literally across the road from wma. Motels nearby in GTown are cheap, but doubling up on a campsite is cheap and ya got midday and evening campfires, where no one ever tells a lie.

Well here we go... Buddy had to cancel due to work. I decided to take a few days myself since this hunt is closer. I packed my gear, etc... I here I am in quarantine and very sick! Grandson tested positive yesterday. What joy!! Seems to me the more careful you are the more likely you are to get this stuff! Grandson had not been inside any business but one time since this thing began. He took all the precautions. Who knows. My lungs ache, head hurts, etc.. I am a transplant patient, had cancer twice, diagnosed stage four this year. Covet your prayers!

Well good thing I was sick, I would have drove all over that place looking. I was tested this morning, having all the symptoms that my grandson who lives with me does, but tested negative! Hard to believe as sick as I am. I had a second test done which is more accurate they say, but takes a few days. Thanks for prayers!
