    The year on our map is from 1784,....and per thread title. It is only found on the very bottom border. For my purpose I'm putting it right here to ride on this horn. Ink has not been applied in this pic.

    A very beautiful work of art, nice dark sharp lines ,a lot of patience, and a steady hand put into that horn.

    Battle Run
    aaron great job on this horn. Out of all you have posted this one is really nice, guess because its close to home. A little side note, the first picture you referenced me. On the licking river where it says "A woody battle was fought here" 3 weeks ago I was turkey hunting on the south side (Nicholas Co. side) of licking. Standing on a ridge looking over into where the battle was fought. Its funny you can see how Caldwell & the Indians had the advantage on the militiamen. Basic war strategy occupy the high ground. A couple of Indian scout decoys was all it took for Major McGary to cross the river.
