Sounds more like a parental problem of poor storage and not teaching little kids to respect guns. Who knows? There needs to be more research. Gun deaths are the number one cause of death among children is also because drownings and automobile accidents are decreasing due to awareness and better safety measures while gun violence is on the rise too I think, but it is going to be increasingly difficult not to address the number one cause of death of children and not make it political. This is why I think its important for McConnel and other republicans to work on bipartisan legislation so it doesn't become a one sided bill from the Democrats.

Less than 3% are killed by “assault weapons” whatever an assault weapon actually is. I think it’s more important to remind fools such as yourself what “shall not be infringed” means. We don’t have a gun problem. Not one gun is killing anybody without a sick twisted person behind the trigger commanding it to do so. It’s a tool just like a hammer or a saw. The constant dribble that comes out to your keyboard solidifies the fact that you have zero reasoning ability. We have a mental health crisis and a moral crisis in this country. What your proposing be done is nothing but a feel good measure. You don’t care about fixing anything. You just want to do something that makes you feel good and you don’t give a damn beyond that. Your a joke and everyone like you is a joke. You’ve been believing lies for years and are either 1) to ignorant to see that you’ve bought into a lie hook line and sinker or

I would wager that the children aged 16-19 makeup about 99% of those gun death statistics and gang related.
