Thanks for the link. I took the survey
I received that Survey yesterday, and filled it out.
Got it. Completed it. It worked well. Thought there might be more interest/concerns with the deer hunting than there was. Oh well......
If your curious as to what the turkey questions are, click the link and you can go thru it again. I did to see what they say. Kind of like the dems packing the illegal ballots eh? LOL
I got the e-mail but the link did not work. The link posted above did work.
I haven't got one either
I took it. A raccoon bounty is coming boys I just know it!!
I took it.
Probably cause most of my questions were turkey related.
Anybody get this when they did it? Looks like they are gonna make changes for sure.
Oh yeah changes are coming. Honestly I only chase them in the fall with a shotgun so combining the two shotgun seasons into one season around Thanksgiving doesn't give me any heartburn.
Another thing to consider is placing the season right after deer gun a lot of wives will be fed up and have a honey do list waiting and that coupled with travel around the holidays may mean even fewer people chasing them in a fall gun season.
I have never understood why the bag limit was so high in the fall. Was it to get rid of some hens?
I normally only shotgun hunt during the December season for fall turkey. The October season is during the chasing phase of the whitetail rut and I'm usually bowhunting then. If they have a Thanksgiving season, it would normally fall during the firearms season for deer and hunter orange will be required. Not a good thing IMO unless some restructuring is done to the deer season, and it's wet enough. I don't think we could take all those tears!
Fall limit is high because the Dept believe the mortality is high of birds making it through the winter and prefer hunters take birds that "they say" won't make it anyway.
Filled mine out on line.
