Kansas Fish and Game Commission Bans Trail Cameras on Public Land
The Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks voted unanimously to implement a year-round, public-land ban on trail camera use.

Interesting.
Yep. I should have made that clear.Only pertains to land open to the public.
I’m certain an individual could still put cameras up on public land. But you’d better not be hunting it or using it for hunting.Be interesting to see where this ends up. I can't recall picture taking of the public and/or public property breaking any kind of law??

What’s the goal of this?

Other states in the west have done this. Lots of hunters support this move. Kansas is the first “white tail” state to do this I think. I get why folks don’t want to run into cams on public land, especially out West where it’s a totally different dynamic. That is stupid imo
