I think people act a little silly about it, but it IS a nasty plant, and easily spotted when blooming.

We are plagued with the stuff. 2-4-D is your friend . It works without killing all your grass but roundup works but kills everything.

I wonder if Hemlock may be a bee killer ???

I try to catch it in the spring before it gets 12 ft tall...and it will.
I don't think Damcows like it, never noticed any they ate.

Yeah if you don’t catch it early . I’d be in hog heaven if cattle liked it. After it gets a couple feet tall all you do is stunt it. Even with my extra spicy tanks I still got to come back and hit a second time but most often I just bush Hog that shit and go on. I’m on the boom sprayer right now fighting this butter cup

    Buttercup is Devil weed.
I sprayed about everything I had back in Early March and it killed 90% of it. Back and spot sprayed later and got the missed spots.
However, new seed germinates and a light stand of it again.
Neverending Battle with it. One Neighbor cut it and rolled it for Hay....I don't know if Damcows would eat it in January or not.
    Spray on Buddy....

If buttercup has bloomed it will be back next year. Got to spray early to control it in pasture and hayfields.

Poison hemlock is a biennial. If it goes to seed it will be back in 2 years. It is poisonous to cattle.
