First one having dropped while checking them moments ago. Took me a minute to locate it within all
but it was worth it
Held it a while, rolling it around, ensuring no critters were hiding within it and then down the hatch it went. Sweet, with an ever so slight, slow-creeping and lingering tangy aftertaste; so, it required at least one more day of sunshine.
Baby bunny again, directly below a batch ... can barely see it.
It hopped back into the jungle, as soon as one of my dogs stepped off the deck. We had been inside the house for a while. Brewster spied one earlier this morning. It was hopping at high speed along the treeline of Bunnyville, heading south. Brewster started to go after it but obeyed command (required more than one) to remain upon the deck.
Just spied it again and made it off the deck before obeying command; but he did so, again requiring multiple commands. He froze and pointed.
Squirrel snatched one blackberry earlier, and a young squirrel attempted to attack a fledgling, elsewhere (I put a stop to that... an adult was trying...)
His next trick was to scare off my two lovely doves, down within the spiderwort bed, but he quickly returned, knowing these goodies were back up here with me. My dogs would trade their tails for this snack.
