If anyone has any they aren’t using I’d buy it. Need a skillet and maybe a Dutch oven or like a pot. It doesn’t by any means have to be lodge. Let me know.

I think the interface and format of this joint take a minute to get used to.

You need to check Ruralking . I have seen new iron in there.
If you check out Walmart , Cabelas , stores like that have some that I have seen before.

Don't rule out the antique malls either. Most of the old stuff can be reconditioned/seasoned and pit to use. Besides, there are some old shapes, sizes, patterns, etc... that you don't see any more.

Be VERY careful with old cast iron. I made a *LOT* of sinkers and muzzle loader balls in old skillets. A lead paint test kit from Home Depot is your friend in such quests...

Agreed! I've found several pieces that tested positive for lead. They're either destroyed or given to friends who make their own bullets, etc.

May be a drive for you, but the Mount Washington Pawn Shop here in Bullitt County has a whole wall of cast iron stuff. Also Lodge has an outlet store in TN at the factory. We stopped by there a few weeks ago and some of the finish defect products were 50 to 75% off retail prices. My wife bought two dozen of their yellow shopping bags that she uses for all kinds of stuff.
