They've already posted on FB that it was closing it doors too. Can't find a serious buyer so there you go. I wish Shooters from Paducah would buy it but they just opened a store in Eddyville so bad timing. I will be making a trip very soon though.
It sounds like he's willing to "fire sale", practically. If so, I'd think someone would buy the inventory, if not the whole thing.
I would not give up on somebody buying the store. It has been a fixture in Muhlenberg county for many years and brings in many $$$$. Strange that Lee is retiring and that's the reason for shutting down I very seldom see him at the store anyway.
After more inquiry I have found out the liquidators are already there. I hope he can pay them to leave if someone steps forward. I find it blatantly obvious that the option to buy the store was virtually unknown. If he was looking to sell wouldn't people have to know about it before they can buy it? Is this a bank liquidation?
Well, if this forum survives and he is out of the picture, maybe we can get the classifieds back on here.
