I don't know why it should be so hard to believe that the genetics influencing a buck's antler come primarily from his mom. It is well known & accepted that, in humans, the genetics for baldness come primarily from the mom's side. I'm living proof. My dad, his brother, & his dad all had a full head of hair their entire life. My mom's dad was bald as a ping pong ball. I have a big bald spot that is progressively getting bigger. Thanks a lot, Papa!
Well I know that’s not true because my moms side had thick lush hair into old age. I have the exact same hair that my dads side does and it’s not thick and lush for sure. Lol.

My Daddy lost his hair at 20. His brother lost his by 30. Their Daddy had full head of hair. Mom's Daddy was pretty much bald. Hard to say, as he always wore a hat. I've still got some, but very, very thin on top. I was hosed at birth, lol.

There’s ways to save that hair ,before you loose it all,the best is probably a shoebox🤣

I carried crossbow with pink bolts last night hoping to kill a monster and post it.

Turkeys everywhere, I think that’s why I started bow hunting… believe I’ll take the twig and string tonight.
