My oldest son works at a Toyota spin off plant. The "Techs" from Japan come over to "Work." He has told me about some that will work 20 hours, lie down at the plant and go back at it again. I have met some of them and they do give 110%. We don't have many Here that will do that.

People love to bitch and moan about Indian immigrant c-store owners but I know one who bought out and runs a country store along with his wife and 2 kids. “Sunny” as he’s called locally since he has a $50 real name lol is in that store 7 days a week from 4:30 am til 10 pm bless his heart. I’d take 10 of his kind compared to a lot of light skinned folks I know.

The indians bought the store in our neighborhood...was against it at first, but they are like family now. Only time they are closed is when the power is off, Christmas, Thanksgiving, it don't matter, they are open.

If somebody messed with the family that runs the store I’m referring to they’d feel the wrath of the community and Marshall County is probably the whitest county in the Commonwealth, at least the western half of the state. We country folks value hard work above all else.

There's a man that runs a store here locally and he is there at 4:30 am/7 days a week to open. Doesn't matter what the weather, temp, etc. If he's running short on help, I've seen him work open to close until he can hire someone. Work ethic is not lacking with those folks.

I work in IT, programming specifically. Some of the nicest and hardest working people I know do not share the same religious beliefs as me but I’ll be damned. I’ll go to bat and have for a lot of them as well as they have for me.
I work with a guy from Pakistan right now on an application. He’s a huge Trump supporter and hates all the illegal bullshit. He came here legally and thinks everyone should do the same. I worked with him when he finally obtained citizenship a couple years ago. The questions they asked him, 99% of American citizens would have no clue. I remember the day before, he was nervous as hell.
He has some really good stories but… One funny thing is he told me is he couldn’t believe that people just let their cattle roam in fields here. He said there, they would get stolen.
I work with another guy from Korea. He said that he used to carry water 2 miles on his head. They also eat dog. Good dude also, that works many late nights.
