Oooops! Maybe they meant 2020, or 2030 and that's was just a typo. LOLOLOL

10 years...funny. But Bucky Beaver Bartender AOC clucks out about '10 years' too. Wonder where she gets that number? LOL
Its all about controlling you and pissing all over their serfs...has nothing to do with 'climate'.

In 1989 the United Nations claimed that climate change would destroy the earth by the year 2000 and even said that it would be too late to fix global warming in those ten years.

So, as far as the UN was concerned, it is decades too late to fix global warming already.

Indeed, the UN claimed that by the year 2000 the coasts would be flooded, island chains would disappear, and the world would be turned into a mass of “eco-refugees.”

That was already almost 20 years ago. Has any of this happened?

    Nope. None of it has.

But the U.N. was absolutely sure of its “consensus” and “scientific facts” back then.

In 1989, the Associated Press warned of “global disaster” based on the U.N.’s proclamations:

A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.

Did I miss that happening 20 years ago? Did you miss it?

    No, because it never happened.

But the U.N. was full of Y2K doom and gloom.

Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP.

    Um… nope.

    And guess what?

He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.

    Yeah… no.

    The AP went on:

As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday.

Coastal regions will be inundated; one-sixth of Bangladesh could be flooded, displacing a fourth of its 90 million people. A fifth of Egypt’s arable land in the Nile Delta would be flooded, cutting off its food supply, according to a joint UNEP and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency study.

This is all the same garbage that climate change religionists regurgitate every few years always saying that we only have ten years to fix it before it is “too late.”

So, why should we believe them again?

The only scam that can be wrong 100% of the time and people still continue to fall for it. Some people are just sheep that follow matter the facts.

Folks we're dealing with a type of cult worship here. That's why reason and facts don't work with these people. The "elites" pushing and funding this nutty stuff know it's a scam, but they see dollar signs and power in it.

Prefect example, Obama bought a $15 Million mansion on the beach at Cap Cod. The back door is 110 yards from the high tide mark. If the seas are going to raise then in just 3-4 years the bottom floor will be flooded every high tide. I seriously doubt Obama believes the crap he supported.
