What would you choose? I’ve already been a welder for years along with working in prisons for years..
I think I’d stay with welding but change to being a Rig/pipeline welder. Work of my own rig traveling on the pipelines about 9 months a year..
I picked a hard way to go in my career when I was young. Made it harder than it had to be. I switched over from welding to LE and still ended up welding in a prison..took me years working my way up through three prison systems until I started making a good living..
Had it to do over I would have hit the pipeline and been making $150K+ a year..

Hard to say, probably something outdoorsy, even if it didn’t pay a lot.
  3. I’d have learned to rebuild transmissions. Probably be retired by now.

I took a test once and it said I was best fitted for a pianist or surgeon. Instead I printed Christmas paper for 12 years and now 25 years in a paper mill.

I would like to do what Dr. Pimple Popper does. I think it would be very interesting.

LOL! I read somewhere that this is one of the most popular shows on TV for KIDS! Funny what fascinates them.

I'd have probably kept working instead of "retiring" to become a stay home mom. I loved my job (technical writer for a software company) but trying to find QUALITY child care was a nightmare so when our $200/week childcare provider (National Academy in Lexington) overdosed our child one day & then left her screaming with a broken nose another day all in the same week, I said ENOUGH and came home. I've never regretted it but I really did love my job and turned down several offers (as well as taking a work at home contract for about 18 months) over the next few years. Not to mention that we'd have been a LOT better off financially if I'd kept working.

Nurse Anesthetist always seemed appealing but I honest don't know. I sure as hell wouldn't be a civil engineer in the solid waste industry. Ugh!

Good job, especially if you want to travel. You can contract out for big bucks and move around.
