You know better than that.
They make a powder for that.
OK boys, talk to me. I finally got the pro form, so I'm ordering one Monday. Tell me about the crank cock versus rope cock... Crank looks simple and easy.. Is it worth $100?
According to my dad, 100% worth every penny !! He couldn't use the rope in a tree stand.
I'm leaning towards the ten point Titan M1 with accudraw package.....
I never found out what model my dad has, but a TenPoint for sure. He put the accudraw on after he bought it. You can't go wrong with TenPoint !! Good luck !
Others will have to speak on Ten Point. I’ve had two brands that cock easy by rope but are designed differently. The Parker I used to own and my current Mission, no way would I add a cocking device they cock so easy by rope. Much quicker too. Now my Dads Barnett, heck yes, it would be better to add a cocking device.
I just ordered a Wicked Ridge (ten point) M370 with the accudraw system.
Congrats BG !!
Talk to me about bolts and briadheads..... Can you swap the nocks on bolts for lighted nocks (like arrows), or do you buy bolts with lighted nocks already attached? Aluminum or carbon bolts?
Congrats! Try to break it in on a gobbler this Spring if you have a chance!
Had not thought of that, but that's a great idea! Do they make guillotine broadheads for crossbows?
You can do either with the nocks. Go with carbon. Read your specs, it will tell you if you need a 20 in or 22 in bolt.
They do but you’re fine with 100 or 125s in whatever you prefer. I use 125 Montec. I’ve shot 1 gobbler and he went about 20 yards.
I use carbon express piledrivers and big mechanicals. You ain't lacking for power, so use it to cut big holes.
