Found these before the coons got them.
Paw paw pie?
Been a while since I picked up those. Brings back memories.
Me too. My paw paw used pick up paw paws for me when I was little. Loved them. That was in Pike County. Ive never seen a tree here in Johnson County.
My grandmother had one in her front yard when I was around 10. We used to pick them up and I would climb the tree to shake the limbs.
I’ve never seen one in my life.
Ate my first one Tuesday. Wish I would had ordered more trees now.
We have had these trees along the creek. Finally this year we got a few paw paws.
We saw a few broken limbs an I think coons had broken them getting paw paws.
I visited a lone tree again back in July that was loaded with young fruit. That tree is probably 14" through at the base.
Poor man's bananna. My papaw used to make homemade wine off them jokers somehow!!
We don’t have them down in here in low country.
We should have plenty in a few years. Planted well over 100 of the suckers at our farm & around the edges of the field behind the house....
Love a good paw paw. And by good..they need to be on the verge of throwing them away due to being soft and mushy
Some trees here are loaded, some nothing
That is a big paw paw tree.
