Hey guys, I'm still in graduate school, but starting to look for info about hunting out west. I've looked at information for Nebraska because of the liberal seasons and limits. But, literally any state you'd recommend would be great. I prefer over-the-counter tags so I don't have to wait on point systems or anything like that. ANY advice on-- public areas, trespass fees, gear recommendations, apps, etc. would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

You will need onxhunt app without a doubt. That will show you what you can and can’t hunt. Other than that it depends on the species your after. Turkey tags are over the counter in Nebraska South Dakota and Wyoming. If you want a true merriam turkey go to Wyoming. Nebraska is full of hybrids
