we build ours on a frame with axle so we can move them where we want. we usually have about 1500 in ours but they are insulated and have heaters.

Yea I bought a little trailer several years ago and was gonna do same cause that’s what wife wanted for me to do. Gave $80 for the trailer.
I repurposed it and made it a firewood trailer. Lol.
I’m gonna put metal I bought off a guy 20 sheets for $60 on the outside and may go on inside and put that foil back styrofoam board from Lowe’s for $10 something a sheet in between the 2x4 studs to insulate it. Already got a 15,000 BTU heater. Won’t have to run it much if any. Unless it’s real real cold.

Looking good so far. Do not forget to run a 1/2 in pvc pipe with funnel on top
down one of the post in the corners at zipper height for taking a leak.
That way you do not have to open door and let heat out and it cuts down on
outside movement. Keep a gal of water to rinse out.....

I will.
I gotta put some vinyl flooring in it this weekend I got for nothing.
And gonna add another 2x4 to window seal on inside for a sand bag ledge for shooting. I got them laying round to.
And I’m gonna build a little table off the cedar post inside to put stuff on.
And also gonna put some steps in. Got them for nothing just gotta do some modifications.
And add a rubber door sweep after flooring is in to get my height. Already got that too.
Later on I may go to Lowe’s and buy some of that foam board with foil on it to put on walls. But not really worried bout that.
That will put my expenses over $500 but that’s fine. Still cheaper than the redneck blinds and serves the purpose.

Have you searched for some of the mini stoves? You can find some homemade plans too. Be nice to have a mini stove with a flat area to warm coffee.....just saying.

Naw I haven’t.
But I’m gonna have a 15,000 BTU heater head that fits on a propane jug.
I don’t drink coffee.

I wish I had pictures. My dad had a pretty cool hunting house. We built it on some pretty big light poles that he got from BGE, when they would replace them. The platform was 23 feet high. It was a 8x8 room, with a 3 foot walk around it. He had a small bunk in it. With a small wood stove. He would go the evening before opening day of gun season and spend the night. Several times I would go hang out with him if I had tagged a buck already. It was a lot of fun. That wood stove would run you out. He would use it to heat soup and sandwiches on. Along with his coffee.
