I tried to find other thread I thought somebody started that said post your huntin houses.
But to no avail.
Any way. Here’s mine I started a couple weeks ago. I’ll have around $475 in it when done. I plan on putting metal on it this weekend to get it dried in.

Before ya dry it in, put you some shelves below the window for drinks, and stuff. Easier to frame in now then after sheathed.

we build ours on a frame with axle so we can move them where we want. we usually have about 1500 in ours but they are insulated and have heaters.

My mother had her garage windows replaced years ago. Like always she kept the old ones. So fast forward to Christmas Eve I was out in her garage and I asked her what she was gonna do with the windows. She said nothing. Take them. I said ok. So I took 3, the fourth one was broke and I told her I would get rid of it for her.
They are a flanged window. They slide. They was vertical in her garage but I mounted them horizontal. I’ll end up either tinting them, painting most of window black or putting camo mesh over them. It’s a lot of window. I’ll figure something out. It’s gonna be a good hunting house and damn near air tight when I’m done and I won’t have the dollars in it, like I would if I bought one.
I’ll update this thread as I go. It’s not done yet. Lot of stuff in it I’ve accumulated over the last couple years free. Just costed gas gettin there. But not much gas.

I prolly wouldn’t never built it if my wife hadn’t mentioned it. (She hunts with me to)
Cause I still like sittin in stand on a tree. But it’ll be nice sometimes ya know. Like 120 said he’ll I may throw a cot or recliner in there and spend night. Who knows. Got all kinds of potential.
