I can only hunt one day this weekend. Which one would you hunt? I was thinking saturday should be better because the weather will be letting up but i noticed the wind is gonna be around 16 mph. Sunday the wind looks to be much lighter but saturday is the colder day out of the two. So which day would u hunt if you could only hunt one of the two? Do the deer care about wind under 20 mph if they are in rut or do they just ingnore it?

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. As of right now I am picking Sunday because of the wind. Supposed to be 20mph winds on Saturday. Don't know if that will affect the movement much because of the time of year it is. It's going to be chilly on Sunday as well with high here in WKY forcasted at 51. Good Luck

I think I would hunt Sunday also if I could only hunt one day, although big bucks do seem to move when it's miserable weather. The wind at 20 miles per hour is tough obstacle to over come even if they are moving. Unless your in the right set and then anything can happen this time of year.
