They will, I have had them zip past my head like a bullet. I have had them hit my kitchen window pretty hard and back when we had a whole bunch, I was at my car and two were chasing each other and zipped past my head. I could feel the flutter off their wings as they passed by. They came out of nowhere.

Still have at least 2 here. Little monsters were dive bombing me when I was cleaning & refilling the feeder this morning. Have you ever been hit by one? Feels kinda like someone threw a cotton ball at you......

Sorry for the loss of your pretty lady. She almost made it to the longest day of the year.
My little ladies and juvenile males have fresh hyperjuice, as of a few moments ago. While re-hanging feeder 2 of 3 and standing upon my tippy toes, with one hand upon a tree branch for easy balance, a tiny, little one decided it could not wait and perched upon the feeder within my hand, causing me to freeze yet again. Thankful for all the ballet lessons, because the cuteness was quite thirsty and drank forever, eye level and only one foot from my face. That was very cool to experience yet again.

At least two females.yesterday but only one female today,. Two flew into the cabin, while playing chase. The constant back and forth
frenzy began to slow, directly after our first cool snap last week, and they were quickly depleting their feeders at that time. Will be refilling them later tonight and fuller than usual, now that it's cooler. The females are typically more difficult to photograph, in my opinion. Simply more elusive.
