I worked in a factory 10 years, gave 110%, got told the pay scale was out of whack and they were going to give biggest pay raise ever. New hires got $1 an hour more, i got $.02, with a promise of no raises for 2 years, and insurance premium going up, in essence, a pay cut.
I applied for a job with KU, and got it, best decision ever, with a $3 an hour raise right off, and steady step and annual raises.
20 years of that and retired.
Im not saying quit the job, im saying get out and look for better.

For the past 8 years insurance. Thats about all I'll say on it.

But I've worked a lot of jobs. I bounced between having 2-3 jobs at a time for a long time until I found one that pays and gives me the free time I like to spend that pay.

Totally depends on the job and future at the company. I put up with a lot at a job for 13+ years because I was promised the CIO job. Then they moved the company to Fl.

I think they may have decided to move on. Their current employer has a long history of promising things and not coming through.. After talking at length Im honestly shocked they have lasted this long,,

Depends on your age and your pension benefits. I hated the last decade of my job, but was too close to retirement to do anything about it. Younger folks have more options.

I have 22 years in, 6 weeks of vacation, and a pension. If i am forced to return to work, at some point, i will look for another work from home job, but wouldn’t know where to begin looking. I know i need to make a move before age of 50 if im going to do it.

Actually quite the opposite. You pay them good they won’t stay and get lazier than hell. Your better off to treat em like a number this day and time because they don’t really give a f$&@. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve been considering hiring a woman but hell that’s just gonna cause a whole new set of problems lmao.

Proud dad moment today. Lil Jr wants to become an engineer after high school (He will be a Jr in the fall). So, we hired him on as a summer intern to learn the ropes and today is his first day of a real job. He works under me learning the ropes.
