How long before a GSP pup shows ticking?

I have paid a deposit on a GSP pup and they are now a few days old. I know it takes a while for the ticking to appear on pups. Just wondering how long it takes until I can tell how much ticking these pups will have.

You should be able to tell at 4-5 days how heavy ticked they'll be. You won't see the tick until a couple of weeks, but you should see a different coloration of the hair. If it's pure white, it'll stay that way, the tick's will have an off-white color.

These are less than 3 weeks old if I remember correct. Notice 2 white ones, they stayed white.

My GSP

Mine stayed white for a while but now that she is about a year she has some dark spots but you could see them with in a week under all the white fur. But she is not heavily ticked.

They will be a week old this Friday. They are going to send me some more pics then. Hopefully I'll be able to tell more then.
