My best girl is packing up at work and they’re leaving ASAP. When I went thru this morning Bells gun shop was within feet of flooding. Not looking good

She must be one of the smart ones. Plenty will remain like idiots and then cry; they always do so.

My road will be flooded by lunch time 12 mile creek was touching the bottom of the bridge on my way out. Going to have to go the long way home. Fortunately home is high and dry, but getting there can be problematic. Had to cut and move a couple downed trees to get out this morning as well.

Just prior to tropical storms and hurricanes in Florida and elsewhere within the SE Republican coastal states, residents and businesses are provided with multitudes of locales where they can either personally retreive prefilled sandbags or fill their own sandbags, as preventative flood measures. It works extremely well.
    Example:

    https://www.wogx.com/news/hurricane-dorian-where-to-get-free-sandbags

I issued query for "free sandbags city of Cynthia Kentucky", which fetched ZERO results. I wonder why that may be. Perhaps your Democrat governor prefers to have all suffer flood and then cry for FEMA money, in attempts to obtain more. I don't know, but whatever the cause, it sure isn't helping citizens. This was the closest that I could find for all, but maybe one or more of you may be better capable, with experience in this region.

I drove through some Highwater on Russell Cave Road on my way to blue grass stockyard around 9, just left the stockyards headed back home the same way and police have the road shut down it was about 2 foot when I went through must be bad now. This was flooded field type conditions not a gushing river crossing

I have 20+ acres of hay that is flooding . it has happened in the past . It can rain after it floods and you would think it washed any mud/ dirt off but no it will still be dirty hay .

This constant rain has gotten out of hand and is killing my fishing time. I can handle the Virus, but this damn rain is starting to really piss me off, and makes me think mother nature must be a Democrat.
