I disagree..... Name a game this year that UNC played more inspired than they did against UK?

The UK vs. UNC game was terrible. UNC wasn't inspired. They didn't "win". UK handed the game to them, because the team is loaded with underclassmen.

C'mon, to truly be a target for other teams, you've got to be ranked in the Top 10 at a bare minimum. Sure, tradition might play into it, but when your team enters a game with a 15-8 record, it's hard for them to swagger around and proclaim that other teams are really getting up for playing them

Last year notwithstanding, UK hasn't consistently been in the Top 10 since the 1990's. Don't get me wrong. This year's team is talented and good, but UK isn't exactly instilling fear in other programs because of Rupp's Runts or the 1996-1998 teams.

Everything you said is correct, but UK is still UK. I hate to sound cliche, but they truly do get everyone's best shot and for most every team they play, that is the most wanted victory on their schedule. Half of the teams they play can't fill the stands half way for most games, but they always sell out when UK comes to town.

IMO, it doesn't matter how bad, or good, UK is. Most teams will trade their season to beat them.

Also, I heard that before last years team, Calipari has only had 3 one and done's in his entire career. If anyone thinks ANY of these kids from the 80's until now come here for the benefit of UK more than themselves, you've shite and fell back into it. Mashburn didn't care anymore about UK than John Wall did. The only kids that truly care about UK are the ones who know it is the pinnacle of their career and they know if UK succeeds that they will become UK folklore.

By the way, "WE" are getting better, slowly. They are freshmen and will have some down games. Had "WE" converted the last play instead of turning it over, this thread wouldn't have even been started. Some of you look for any reason to knock the Cats and that's your perogative. You even have enough of something akin to hatred running in your veins to fuss about the "we's, them's and they's." Geeze!

And..."WE" will be even better next year. Get used to the idea that the Cats are back and back strong. LOUISVILLE WILL ALWAYS BE ON THE HIND TEAT AS LONG AS KENTUCKY PLAYS BASKETBALL. Get used to that one also.

Oh, yeah. Last point. YA'LLS favorite Coach K makes Calipari look like a school girl in the language department, especially in practice. Eyewitness account of that.
