One of the Willard sons, Keith maybe? Played for the HS for a while too. I played against Horn’s TC HS team. They were good. State RunnerUp. Horn signed DI with WKU and there may have been 3 players on that TC team as good as or better than him.

How many schools have ever had 3 alumni as head coaches in same tournament? Not many.

True but the right connection with Ralph Willard. He literally gave Horn his first college job. That’s the biggest key to coaching in college is having a connection to get in. I just look up Ralph to see how old he is and it’s only showing Kevin as a son so that must be who I remember. I can promise there’s a lot of college coaches who don’t hold a candle to some HS coaches, they just don’t have connections.

I’m not a DH fan due to his tenure at Western but that’s for a different thread.
BTW, word is it’s down to him or Lutz for the Western job. Imho they should hire Preston Spradlin away from Morehead. Dude can flat recruit and coach.

Understood, but when the refs decide to make an impact at the end of the game on one end of the court…..they need to do the same on the opposite end
